The 2018 Fraser Coast Home Brew Competition is on again for the Labour Day Long Weekend. All current BJCP Beer, Mead and Cider Categories will be judged. Entry is open to all home brewers from all parts of Australia. Entries can be posted to FCBB Inc. C/- National Home Brew. 1 Old Maryborough Rd, PIALBA. QLD. 4655. Entries can be submitted online and labels printed live from the FCBB Inc. Webpage http://www.frasercoastbrewers.com/?p=113 1 Tall Bottle of minimum 700ml is required for judging. Either PET Plastic or Glass Bottles are OK - (NO Stubbies will be accepted) MORE DETAILS: This Year, we're expected over 100 Brewers to attend the event from around Australia. The event weekend is the 5th, 6th and 7th of May 2018. Guests travelling can arrive on Saturday, we'll provide a BBQ feed Saturday night and a few "Quiet" drinks. There are several beds available, though these book out early. There's room for caravans, trailers, tents and swags. Sunday is the main event for judging. Sunday night is feast night. Monday is recovery day and a cooked breakfast for the masses will be provided before everyone heads home. (There's no rush to clear out) The cuppa joe coffee van will be on site for the duration with several service times during the day. https://graftonbrewingcompetition.com/ Local Drop offs @ Hoppy Days or Country Brewer before COB Thursday 29th March 2018 Beer judging commences on Saturday 14th April 2018 and those entering are welcome to attend from 4pm, with a sausage sizzle also being held. This is not a BYO event. Do not  bring  your  own  drinking  vessels.  No  smoking  permitted.  Responsible  behavior   of attendees is required, as is being mindful of others. Persons over the age of 18 will only be permitted at the judging. Those planning to attend the judging must RSVP by emailing or contacting chief steward. Numbers are strictly limited, firm confirmation of attendance is required.
