BBC Annual camping trip & Steinbier brew. Beer, pretzels, mayhem.
When: October long weekend, from lunch/afternoon Friday 2nd Oct to Monday 5th Oct. You can come for the whole time or just part.
Where: Property is at Wyberba, about 30km south of Stanthorpe, right beside Girraween National Park, about a 3-4 hour drive from Brisbane depending on traffic, road works, number of stops, etc.
Activities: Beer brewing & drinking. Golf at the Internationally renouned Wyberba Links (PGA accreditation pending). bush walking, wine tasting, kangaroo/platypus/wild pig spotting. Relaxing. Possibly a wee bit of axe throwing?
Provided: Club may bring a jockey box if needed, so feel free to bring a keg and should be able to sort something out. Most meals are usually organised, likely you will have to bring a couple of your own to fill in the gaps, e.g. a lunch or two.
Required: Beer (keg/bottles of your latest, and/or a few cans of something decent), swag/tent/car to sleep in. Camp chair. Warm clothes. Breakfast, lunches. Plate, mug, beer glass, esky, ice, snacks etc.
Available: Water, hot shower, dunny, power, gas BBQ, firewood. There may be some fridge space.
